Summer Lovin'... happened so fast.

Oh my word, it is almost November already. Summer is definitely on it's way out and we are being blessed with cooler temperatures and the smell of autumn (the latter being more to do with my "harvest fall" air sprays and "cranberry scented" candles than HK actually smelling like autumn... but hey, I'll take it).

The HK summer was a hot and humid one and we spent most of it vacating the premises in search of more comfortable climates, or at the very least, exotic distractions.

It started back in June with a work trip to Beijing/Guangzhou, China; followed by a Babymoon/Birthday present to HuaHin/Bangkok, Thailand in July; then another conference trip in August, this time to Washington D.C. which we added on some family vacation time to in Rochester, NY. Derrald then returned home to work and just us girls stayed on in the US to do the family rounds. It's going to take me a while to get these blog posts up but they are on the way...

This has to be one of the most well travelled, in-untero babies on the planet. So far, our baby girl is an excellent traveller and I am keeping my fingers crossed she stays that way outside of the womb too!

Our wee "handful" around 23wks - perhaps a little symbolic of what is to come?

  1. I am so glad you suggested we go to niagra falls. That was a highlight for sure!
